- Did you know that plants can add a lot to any interior decorating scheme. They soften up the room and add a touch of the outdoors making the room interesting and pleasant to be in. Real ones are great because they also help to purify the air, but if you don’t want to mess with real ones, you can buy good quality silk plants that will look just as nice.
- Adding vases filled with gorgeous colorful flowers can also make a room seem more interesting. You can buy cut flowers in the grocery store for very little money, so why not pick some up next time you are out. You might find the “pick you up” too!
- Setting a rug on the diagonal can add interest to a room with smaller sized furniture. It might seem unexpected but can really look great. They key is that if you have a piece of furniture that will be on the rug, all legs need to either be totally on the rug or you must put the whole piece totally off the rug, otherwise it won’t look good at all!
